Welcome to Corte Capitani

Nestled in the rolling hills between Lake Garda and Monte Baldo, Corte Capitani is an intimate winery and country house embraced by terraced vineyards and centuries-old olive groves. As winemakers, we—Jan and Wendy—dedicate ourselves to crafting exceptional wines and olive oil that express our unique terroir. While honoring age-old traditions of the Veneto region, we constantly explore innovative approaches, from pioneering resistant grape varieties to perfecting our craft with each harvest.

Vino

“Vino” represents our commitment to offering wine enthusiasts an adventurous journey through flavors. Our wines showcase both indigenous varieties and grapes specifically cultivated for our region’s unique terroir. Since 2020, we’ve expanded our horizons to include innovative resistant PiWi varieties, reflecting our continuous quest to explore new wine flavours and sustainable viticulture.

Olio

“Olio” represents our steadfast dedication to crafting finest extra virgin olive oil from our century-old trees on the terraced hillsides of our Bardolino estate. We take pride in caring for these ancient trees overlooking Lake Garda, combining tradition with modern extraction to guarantee highest quality. From our 430 Olive trees, we produce 700-800 liters of finest olive oil annually.

Cibo

“Cibo” represents the bounty from our land. Wendy’s garden features ten raised beds of vegetables, berry patches and fruit trees. Our chickens provide fresh eggs, and beehives from colder European regions overwinter here, providing us with honey. The terraces yield wild mushrooms and foraged greens. Grown primarily for our family’s table, the garden’s bounty occasionally graces special Corte Capitani events.

e Altro

“e altro” represents our passion for sharing the complete wine experience. We offer reservation-only tastings for wine enthusiasts to explore and select from our curated collection, and welcome visitors to enjoy our wines paired with local snacks in a relaxed picnic setting. Our charming farmhouse for 10 guests, is also available for rental, providing the perfect Veneto countryside retreat.
